About Ann
Ann is a serial entrepreneur and indie developer. She builds and maintains independent software projects, taking responsibility for the product experience from the first idea through ongoing improvements.
Instagram Cleaner grew from a practical product question: can people review their own Instagram relationship data without giving a third-party service access to their account? The project answers that question with a browser-based workflow that keeps the user in control.
Ann's approach is intentionally straightforward: explain what a tool does, state what it cannot do, and avoid asking for data that is not necessary for the task.
What I care about
01
Focused products are easier to understand, maintain and improve around real user needs.
02
Use user-owned data in the browser when a task does not require account access.
03
Set accurate expectations instead of promising access to data a tool cannot verify.
